While Builders always seek to contract with Insured Subcontractors, the current economic building boom has resulted in a shortage of established subcontractors who can provide evidence of insurance to meet stipulated requirements. This program helps you contract with qualified subs whose only shortcoming is the lack of required general liability insurance.
Builders are often concerned with maintaining current subcontractor certificates of insurance, as well as understanding the specific nature of insurance purchased by subs. Builders also have no way of knowing whether prior claims will impair insurance limits shown on certificates or what insurance is maintained by inactive subs.
